Drake teams up with online gaming company Stake to win ‘real money and give it your all’

Drake is a man who is not only confident in his bars but also in his game.

According to HipHopDX, the rapper has bet more than $1 billion on online gaming company Stake since joining in December 2021.

While his personal favorite appears to be online roulette — playing from his laptop at home even at NBA games — Drake recently placed a $1.25 million bet, which is believed to be in Bitcoin. The bets included the Los Angeles Rams winning the Super Bowl, as well as his close friend and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. scoring a touchdown.

“All bets are on family,” he wrote on Instagram ahead of the football showdown.

Following the Rams’ win, Drake continued to receive payment in CAD and Bitcoin, as previously reported by AfroTech.

With a lot of the virtual gamer’s time on Stake, the outlet is now reporting that they are working with the platform for the greater good.

In a joint Instagram post, Drake and Stake announced that they have officially teamed up for a live betting event. As in his “God’s Plan” music video, he will share the wealth with others.

“It was inevitable. Drake and @stake reunited,” he shared via Instagram. “I will be announcing a date for an upcoming live event where I play to win real money and give it my all because what better way to share the love with my people. Stay tuned for more details .

Looking at Drake’s winnings in virtual gambling, attendees of the upcoming live event may pick up a pretty hefty bag. In just a period of about three months, he won between $354,000 and $7 million on a single spin of the roulette wheel, according to the outlet.
